The importance of exercise cannot be neglected for good physical and mental health. The institute offers gym facility to all its trainees and staff. The gym here has all the modern equipment for workout and is made available to trainees during morning and evening hours.

ITI Dargi has 24 hours clean and safe drinking water that can be used directly from tap at every floor of the ITI Building.

We are offering canteen facility to our trainees and staff. The canteen offers breakfast and lunch to trainees at very reasonable price. Canteen at this institute (HIMIRA Canteen) is run by Self Help Group constituted through Rural Development Department.We are giving utmost importance to cleanliness and hygiene at canteen.

ITI Dargi has a separate AutoCAD Lab for Draughtsman Civil trainees. AutoCAD for Draughtsman Civil Engineers is most popular because of its simplicity and user friendliness. All Draughtsman Civil trainees train to use AutoCAD software. AutoCAD is used by draughtsman civil Trainees for planning, designing and construction of public and private infrastructure like buildings, houses, dams, roads, bridges, tunnels and sewage system etc.

The library is situated on first floor of the institute. The institute library creates an important learning hub with a rich collection of latest books on various subjects, journals, magazines from many leading and renowned publishing houses for ITI Trainees as well as Instructors.

A large multi-Purpose Hall is the centre of considerable activity and has facilities for indoor events, meetings and performances. As a great multipurpose space, the hall satisfies the needs of its assigned function – be it multimedia presentations, stage and musical productions. The distinctive feature of this space lies in its various levels being utilized for different purposes.

The institute has fire protection facility, ITI building is protected by smoke detection and fire alarms, fire extinguishers in cases of emergencies. Numbers of Fire extinguishers, smoke detectors and fire alarms are placed in all workshops, labs and roomsof every floor of the institute building.

The institute gives utmost importance to sports activities and hence developed many facilities to train its trainees in various sports like Kabaddi, Badminton, Kho-Kho and Valley ball. The institute also provides facility for indoor games like Table tennis, Chess and carom board. Our Trainees regularly participate in district ITI’s sports Meet/Tournament activities organised by Shimla District ITI Sports Association.

Govt. ITI Dargi IT lab is fully equipped with advanced computer systems with latest operating software. IT Lab has 24 numbers of computer systems with latest configurations. The Institute has leased line internet connection. All the computer systems have internet facility through wi-fi and LAN.
